Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones offer Bill Clinton details on Web ???

Gennifer Flowers and Paula Jones are offering Internet viewers the lurid details of encounters they claim they had with former President Clinton — for $1.99 a pop.

The women, who gained notoriety in the early 1990s after claiming to have had sexual encounters with Clinton when he was governor of Arkansas, have created a Web site offering videos of their thoughts on Clinton, his wife Hillary and other matters. Each video segment is available for $1.99.

"It's a way we can get our story out there in our own words, without someone making their own interpretations or corrections," Jones said.

On Monday, both walked down a manicured avenue to the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock and chatted with an interviewer from the syndicated television program "Extra."

What Should Hillary Do Now?

Now that she's officially announced the end of her presidential campaign, what's next for Hillary Clinton? The Post asked five opinion leaders, representing a variety of viewpoints, to weigh in. Here are their responses:

John Zogby, pollster and president of Zogby International:

As his basketball career was coming to a close, Bill Bradley wrote eloquently about what happens when the lights dim and the cheerleaders and fans start following the younger starts. He did just fine proving that there are second acts in life. Other great second acts include Ted Kennedy and Hubert Humphrey, who both reached for the brass rail but found their meaning in the Senate. Jimmy Carter defines second-act stardom, his most effective years coming after his presidency.

For us Boomers, it is time for our generational second act. We have always been consumed with ourselves. So much has been about our numbers, our needs, our choices, our purchases, our politics. We internalized it all and lived our lives in the pursuit of 'me.' "Because I'm worth it," the famous L'Oreal ad said. But our accomplishments have fallen short. And now we need a role model. Someone who can show us how to instill the rest of our lives with greater meaning. How to live so that we do good things, so that every smile is genuine, every handshake heartfelt.

Hillary Clinton is 60 and, like many of us we hope, probably has three more decades of living to do. Hillary, don't run for vice president; you don't need it on your resume. Hell, you don't need a resume -- you are Hillary. Don't run for governor of New York; we already have a governor. Find your second act in the Senate, as did Ted and Hubert. Or even better, change the world through the William Jefferson and Hillary Rodham Clinton Foundation. The world needs you, and you need a life of doing, not running.

Gina Gershon denies sleeping with Bill Clinton.

As you might have heard, in the Vanity Fair article The Comeback Id, journalist Todd Purdum insinuates that former President Bill Clinton had an affair with actress Gina Gershon. As it turns out, Gina Gershon didn't appreciate that. In an email to gossip columinst, Liz Smith, Gershon called Purdum a "sleazy liar." She says:

This makes me sick; this irresponsible journalism! Now it is everywhere, and it's a complete lie. They never bothered fact-checking or calling anyone. I am sure it's no accident that this lie was leaked the day before the delegates would vote. I used to love Vanity Fair magazine; now it's just like those tabloid magazines, only without the good horoscopes!"

However, Vanity Fair denied Gershon's lawyers' demand for a retraction and released the following statement to TMZ today:

Todd Purdum's article does not indicate that former President Bill Clinton had an improper relationship with Gina Gershon. The story merely examines the concerns of some of Clinton's aides about reports of his behavior. We don't believe that any correction is warranted."

Gina Gershon is hot, so for Bill Clinton's sake, I hope this rumor is true. Because it's about time his penis got some good publicity. The chicks it's been in so far look like they should be escaping the circus of being chased by angry villagers. I'm almost positive that when you have sex with Hilary Clinton, the free health clinic gives you a free cyanide capsule.

Vanity Fair to Gina Gershon: We’re not sorry over Bill Clinton story

Vanity Fair refuses to issue any sort of retraction for their Bill Clinton profile that implied the former President has been having an affair with Gina Gershon.

Gershon’s lawyers at L.A. celebrity law firm Lavely and Singer demanded a retraction from the mag, saying that “rumor mongering was substituted for fact-checking. It is apparent that Vanity Fair was intent upon publishing unsubstantiated rumors, and that it avoided learning the true facts so that the truth would not get in the way. Such conduct is reckless and malicious, giving rise to substantial liability for defamation.”

But now the mag is biting back. A Vanity Fair spokeswoman says, “Todd Purdum’s article does not indicate that former President Bill Clinton had an improper relationship with Gina Gershon. The story merely examines the concerns of some of Clinton’s aides about reports of his behavior. We don’t believe that any correction is warranted.”

It’s on people!

Vanity Fair - Bill Clinton & Gina Gershon ???

Bill Clinton and Gina Gershon?

A relationship between the former president and the "Bound" actress has been a Hollywood whisper for years. Now Vanity Fair has published a much-discussed story titled "The Comeback Id" that references their relationship. And it has some people wondering what -- if anything -- this story could do to his wife Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

Why is Gina Gershon a person of note? She may be most famous for kissing Elizabeth Berkley in "Showgirls," and if you missed that bit of cinematic history, watch the video below.

According to Vanity Fair writer Todd Purdum, who is married to Clinton's former White House press secretary, Dee Dee Myers, Gershon is one of several women -- but so far, the only actress -- who Clinton has been rumored to be seeing socially.

GinaPurdum writes: "But four former Clinton aides told me that, about 18 months ago, one of the president’s former assistants, who still advises him on political matters, had heard so many complaints about such reports from Clinton supporters around the country that he felt compelled to try to conduct what one of these aides called an 'intervention,' because, the aide believed, 'Clinton was apparently seeing a lot of women on the road.'

The would-be intercessor was rebuffed by people around Clinton before ever getting an audience with the former president, and another aide told me that the effort was not well received by either Bill or Hillary Clinton and that some Hillarylanders, in particular, were in denial about the continuing political risks that Bill’s behavior might pose."

Bill Clinton has responded to the piece by calling the former New York Times L.A. bureau chief "sleazy," "dishonest" and a "scumbag." Click here to hear the former president talk about the piece on Huffington Post. In the clip, he tells supporters that the article is an attempt to boost Barack Obama and discredit his wife. His camp has also sent out a memo detailing the article's errors and calling it "journalism of personal destruction at its worst."

Purdum's piece also contains revelations about Clinton's relationship with Hollywood producer Steve Bing and Clinton's friendship with entrepreneur Ron Burkle. His business relationship with billionaire Burkle, says Purdum, is Clinton's largest source of income after books and speeches, about $15 million.

Burkle, if you recall, played host to that historic star-studded Hollywood pre-Oscar party for Giorgio Armani in 2007. Guests included George Clooney, Helen Mirren, Katie Holmes and Cate Blanchett.

Bill Clinton Vanity Fair - Anger and S*xual Misconduct

The Vanity Fair article on Bill Clinton rips into the former President in a scathing article that outlines his growing anger and his sexual misconduct and sexual exploits while on the road campaigning for his wife. The article by Todd S. Purdum claims that Bill Clinton’s sexual exploits and anger problems are worsening since he left the Whitehouse, and have negatively affected his wife’s run for office as a result. The Vanity Fair article is more about Bill than it is about Hillary though, and it is a fascinating read, but I must warn you that there is some explicit and vulgar language throughout (anytime one discusses Bill’s extracurricular activities, there inevitably will be some folks who were close to the former President who will use explicit language to describe what they know about Bill).

What was Bill’s response to the Vanity Fair article? I’ll give you 3 guesses- as long as they include the words ‘anger’ and ‘denial’. And interesting side note here- The Clinton camp didn’t refute the allegations nor did they defend themselves with any credible evidences- all they did was try to brush the issue aside by pointing out that Vanity Fair didn’t highlight any of Clinton’s ‘good works’ since leaving the white house. The Clinton camp is trying to brush the article aside as being filled with unsubstantiated ‘quotes’, but the fact is that Todd S. Purdum has been covering the Clintons for 16 years now.

The Vanity Fair report by Todd S. Purdum discusses the “the media blowups that have bruised his wife’s campaign, to the private-jetting around with a skirt-chasing, scandal-tinged posse.” Former aids talk about the company Bill is keeping while on the road, and suggesting that the crowd Bill prefers to hang with are less than reputable.

Todd talks at length about the highly controversial Presidential assistant, Doug Band. You’ll want to read about it on Vanity Fair.
Todd S. Purdum also goes into detail outlining how he met Bill, how Clinton acted not only around him, but also around various different groups of people, and how Bill apparently divided his time between those he thought would be most useful to him, while ignoring those who he felt weren’t ‘relevant’ enough I guess. Todd spoke with many former Clinton aids and personnel to gather his story, and found out quickly that Clinton’s life was guarded by his legendary stonewalling. He did find out that Clinton left the Whitehouse 12 million dollars in debt, and his extravagant lifestyle since leaving have racked up huge bills. Clinton has since been making $150,000 to $250,000 dollar speeches across the globe.

The Clintons recently released their income tax records for the years since he left the Whitehouse, and the total amounts to a staggering $109 million dollars.
Todd brings up a good point inthat Bill Clinton has been forgiven what he calls colossal egotism and “acts of extraordinary selfishness” because he knows how to play the ‘I’m doing for the little guy’ card, and Betsy White deftly accuses Bill of Betsey Wright character accuses the Bill’s character of “always skating by on charm and talent and need.”

Bill got away with practically everything because he never took grown-up responsibility for any of his actions according to Todd. I think Todd has insightfully nailed Bill’s character with this one line.
Excerpt: “But for a politician with so many admirers, allies, acquaintances, faithful retainers, and hangers-on, Clinton remains a profoundly solitary man, associates say, without any real peers, intellectual equals, or genuine friends with whom he can share the sweetest things in life. (The one who has always come closest, for better and worse, for richer and poorer, is simply too busy these days.)”

Todd tells about how 4 former Clinton assistants heard so many stories about Clinton allegedly being a little too friendly with women on the campaign trail, that they tried to ‘intervene’, apparently to try to stave off accusations by the media I’m guessing. Todd also spoke with ‘dozens’ of current and onetime Clinton aides to paint a portrait of what Todd calls a ‘cavernous narcissism’ that has taken shape in Bill over the years since he left office.

Todd really does a bang up job in his article on Clinton, revealing a side we rarely get to see in the media. Whether all of it is true or not remains to be seen as Clinton is angrily denying some of the allegations, but aids and assistants are all fairly consistent when describing Bill.
