It's Danielle Buxom: Revealed... the changing shape of Mrs Gary Lineker

By Rachel Quigley

Thumbs up: Gary Lineker's wife Danielle gets the thumbs up as the couple celebrated his 50th birthday last night with son George

These days she is very much Mrs Lineker. But don’t forget this is a lady who once went by the name Danielle Bux.

And as if to remind us all, she is showing off a startlingly buxom shape these days.

Bitter weather is no match for a little black dress, especially one as plunging and clinging as this one. Danielle added Christian Louboutin heels and a lip-shaped clutch for a dinner to celebrate her husband’s 50th birthday in London this week.

The second Mrs Lineker, who has a nine-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, is also stepmother to Gary’s four teenage sons.

She is just 13 years older than his eldest boy, George, who joined the couple for the celebrations at Zuma restaurant in Knightsbridge.

Then it was off to the Funky Buddha club in Mayfair, where they met up with Lineker’s Match Of The Day co-star Alan Hansen and his wife Janet.

Over-exposed: Danielle wore a very low-cut £495 Vivienne Westwood dress and £375 Christian Louboutin heels

Less uplifting: Pictured with Gary here in 2008

The party continued until 3.30am when they emerged looking somewhat bleary-eyed.

Danielle, no doubt keen to show off her Vivienne Westwood dress, complete with built-in corset, went without a coat despite the below-freezing temperatures in London.

The former lingerie model, said to have had breast surgery some years ago, certainly displayed some showstopping curves.

Party guy: Lineker is clearly not ready for his pipe and slippers just yet

She has spoken in the past of the challenge of becoming stepmother to four teenage boys, saying she felt more like a big sister than parent.

‘It’s a massive shock to go from being a single mum to having four teenage boys.

'I want to be their friend, but with boys it’s harder to be on a level with them, especially as a woman, and as a younger woman.’

Who's the young one? As they left at 3.30am, George looked ready for bed, while Gary was still wide awake

SPOILER ALERT: Controversial teen whose waist can be held in a man's hands named America's Next Top Model

By Daily Mail Reporter

Scroll down to watch Ann crowned the winner

Stunned: Ann Ward finds out she has been crowned America's Next Top Model on the finale show last night

Her first appearance on America's Next Top Model caused controversy when a judge showed he could fit both hands round her tiny waist.

But model wannabe Ann Ward's ultra slim physique did not deter the judges in tonight's finale of the hit TV show.

The 6"2 gangly model from Dallas was declared the winner of the programme, landing a modelling contract, a spread in Italian Vogue and a $100,000 contract to advertise Cover Girl cosmetics.

Reactions: Ann was overcome when she was crowned winner, but loser Chelsey Hersley didn't look impressed

The 19-year-old was overcome with emotion after judges including designer Roberto Cavalli, Vogue magazine's Andre Leon Tally and host Tyra Banks told her she had beaten 22-year-old finalist Chelsey Hersley from Idaho.

'I'm so honoured right now,' said Ann who told Tyra she was bullied at school because of her unusual appearance.

'All those comments about being tall and just not normal. They're going to look back and feel "I should have been so nice to that girl."'

Emotional: Ann burst into tears when host Tyra Banks told her she was the winner of Cycle 15

She's the winner! Tyra waits to congratulate Ann as Chelsey gives her an awkward hug

However, Chelsey, who says she has wanted to be a supermodel since she was three-years-old, did not take her loss well.

'I feel cheated. I feel I have the whole package,' she said. 'And I don't think Ann does.'

But, after watching the show back last night, Chelsey admitted Ann definitely took better photographs than she did.

Catwalk queens: Ann and Chelsey walked in a Roberto Cavalli show in the season finale of the programme

She said: 'I had time to realize I made it to the final two. I'm the runner-up to America's Next Top Model. I think that's a huge accomplishment. I'm really proud of myself.

'I think the Cycle is more elevated, more high fashion. And I find myself to be very high fashionable and editorial, but Ann took amazing pictures.

'When it came down to it, Ann took better pictures than I did.'

Challenges: The girls took part in an fashion shoot in the Italian countryside for the final show

Fashionista: Eventual victor Ann poses for her Cover Girl shots in Italy

The final episode, shown on U.S. network The CW, saw the girls take part in a photo shoot in Italy, film a commercial for Cover Girl cosmetics and hit the catwalk for a Roberto Cavalli runway show in Milan.

However, neither girl escaped the judges' criticism.

Andre Leon Talley said Chelsey's catwalk presence contained, 'No snap, no crackle, and no pop' while Tyra called Ann's focused eyes 'a little zombie.'

Back in August, Ann's slim appearance caused controversy when her audition was shown in a trailer for the 15th season of the show.

Her waspish waist shocked the judges with judge Miss J Alexander putting his hands around her waist, to find they touched on either side.

And Tyra told Ann: 'You have the smallest waist in the world. Look at that waist!'

However, she was forced to issue a statement after public outcry over the clip.

‘In an effort to create a fun and entertaining sneak peek of the upcoming cycle, America’s Next Top Model released a trailer that was edited in a way that misconstrued our overarching message,’ the 36-year-old host said in a statement to People magazine.

Prayer vigil held for ailing Aretha Franklin as she prepares to undergo surgery

By Daily Mail Reporter

A community prayer vigil has been held in Detroit for singer Aretha Franklin who is set to undergo surgery.

The vigil comes a day before the singing legend is set to undergo a medical procedure for an undisclosed condition.

Say a little prayer for Aretha: Detroit rallied to pray for the singing legend Miss Franklin who is set to undergo surgery today

City Councilwoman JoAnn Watson and others gathered downtown Wednesday to pray for Franklin.

The news come a month after the 68-year-old singer announced she was cancelling all concert dates and personal appearances through May on the orders of her doctors.

Which came after she reportedly spent a week in Detroit's Sinai-Grace Hospital for a 'serious illness'.

Franklin wasn't at the vigil, but in a statement she thanked the City Council, saying 'all prayers are good'

Challenging time: Aretha has suffered some health problems since falling and breaking two ribs in September

The medical procedure is scheduled for later today. The details of her illness have not been made public.

The announcement comes at the end of a challenging year for the legendary singer.

In September, Franklin's second eldest son Edward Franklin was attacked by three assailants at a petrol station in Detroit.

A month earlier, Franklin had to cancel her dates with Condoleeza Rice on their joint tour after breaking two ribs in a fall.

Hollywood's pushiest parents

His ten-year-old daughter’s got a hit single and a tour on the way. His son’s made a £180m movie. Are Will Smith and his wife making their children grow up just a little too fast?

By Nicole Lampert

Family fortunes: Is it too much too soon for Will and Jada Smith’s children Willow and Jaden?

At the American Music Awards, one of the biggest nights of the music calendar, the Smith family are all working hard on the red carpet.

There is mum Jada, sashaying in her draped Pucci dress, and actor son Jaden, 12, his adorable smile just visible under his insouciantly placed cap.

But stealing the scene is the new star of Will Smith’s family. Her name is Willow and she is just ten years old.

Dressed in a cute grey, cut-off jumpsuit with sexually suggestive belts and straps, she waves at the adoring crowd. Some have applauded this latest outfit as another example of her amazing fashion sense; others may simply deem this get-up inappropriate for a child.

Willow — having tried the acting thing — has decided (or had it decided for her) that she is now branching out into music. A catchy song, Whip My Hair, was found for her, and a video produced by Ray Kay whose work includes Lady Gaga’s Poker Face and Justin Bieber’s Baby.

With such august backers it quickly became the best-selling debut single on Billboard’s digital song chart. It’s an excellent R&B song, but the fact that the singer — in revealing clothes and posturing in an overtly sexual way — is a ten-year-old makes for unsettling viewing.

Willow has been signed by Jay-Z, the husband of Beyonce, mentor of Rihanna and current kingmaker of the American music scene. There is already talk of an album and a tour. British fans will be able to buy Whip My Hair from December 6.

Talking about her record contract, Willow said she was thrilled: ‘It felt like all that hard work that I’ve done — like recording Whip My Hair — it’s paid off.’

Karate Kid: Jaden Smith starred in the re-make of the popular Eighties film

It’s surprising that Will Smith’s daughter feels she has to work so hard. At 42, he is the most successful actor in Hollywood commanding upwards of £10 million a movie.

His wife Jada, 39, combines acting with being a producer, novelist, musician and philanthropist. Last year alone they earned £20 million. But it seems that is not enough; their ambitions for their children are also boundless.

Both Jaden and Willow (whose names are twists on their parents’ names) have been involved in showbusiness from a young age; they starred as their father’s on-screen children in I Am Legend three years ago and have had small parts on shows with their parents. But this year their profile has taken off.

In the summer, Jaden had his first starring role in a £25million remake of the Eighties hit The Karate Kid. Handily, the film was produced by his parents’ own company Overbrook Entertainment.

The family decamped to China for the shoot — with Will and Jada acting as both producers and chaperones. As Jaden promoted the film around the world, his parents were there, taking centre stage at press conferences and premieres.

When the bandwagon was in London, Will was open about how there were often rows between him and his wife, as he would constantly try to get more out of his son — and employee — while Jada would urge rest.

‘It was a struggle for Jada to keep the pressure off,’ he said. ‘Jaden is so disciplined and hard-working, it is difficult not to push him for more.

‘There is no telling what this kid could do, and that is one thing that stands out between him and other children I have worked with. Six-day working weeks, another take — he has the mentality, he is there. Jada had to remind me that this family had to come first and the project second. Which was really difficult.’

Growing up fast: Jaden and Willow dress older than their years at a film premiere

While the film took £180 million at the box office, it soon emerged there was another star waiting in the wings.

Willow was making sure she was getting just as much attention as her brother with a series of eye-catching looks on the red carpet, including a Mohican hairstyle and Givenchy handbag.

Can all this exposure really be good for a ten-year-old?

‘Becoming a star when you are a child can be too much too soon,’ says psychologist Corinne Sweet. ‘You exist in a strange bubble where people make you think you are somebody very special.

‘When child stars grow up they can have a problem with the reality of the world. They also have no goals to aim for as they did it all when they were young.’
But Will and Jada, both from poor backgrounds, insist things will be different for their offspring.

‘One of the advantages our children have is that their parents have been doing this for a long time,’ Jada says.

‘When your dad is still the biggest movie star in the world, that keeps things grounded. They grew up in the industry; it’s not like they are moving into something different.’

Following in his footsteps: Will Smith found fame as a teenager as the star of TV show The Fresh Prince of Bel Air

Movie stylist Phillip Bloch agrees: ‘It’s a balanced family situation. It’s just that when Mum and Dad’s friends come over, it’s Jamie Foxx or Tom Cruise or Queen Latifah.’

A family friend said: ‘Will and Jada expect only the best from their children, there is very little room for failure. They’re a very competitive, high-performing family.

‘It’s almost like the kids have never known what it’s really like to be a child. They were launched straight into the limelight. A lot of their friends think it is way too much too soon.’

While Willow records her album, Jaden has other films lined up. Sony is keen for a Karate Kid 2, but there are rumours it is baulking at her father’s demand that Willow sing the theme song. One movie insider said: ‘No one can believe how pushy he is being.’

Surely they can’t be that surprised? Jada and Will have taken pushy parenting to a new level.

Now THAT'S a VPL: The new XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL underwear for women with a 105in waistline (and they're flying off the shelves)

By Daily Mail Reporter

Supersize me: A model poses in he latest range of underwear by The Big Bloomers Company, made to fit 45stone women with a 74 dress size

A company which makes the world's biggest knickers has been forced to make even larger underwear - for women who are a size 74 with 105in waistlines.

The Big Bloomers Company was set up by mother and daughter Dianne and Laura Mannering earlier this year making underwear up to XXXXXXXXL for 35 stone women.

But they were inundated with calls from obese women around the world claiming they are too small.

So the pair have developed their latest range - which are a staggering XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL - to fit 45 stone women who have a 8.75ft waistline and a dress size of 74.

Women from New Zealand, France and Australia have already been clamouring for the items, which have been flying off the shelves since going on sale last week.

Made to measure: Since the launch last week, around 100 items have sold and New Zealand and Australia are the biggest takers

Dianne, 68, of Penryn, Cornwall said: 'We realised there was a woeful lack of selection and so decided to cater for much larger women, which proved very popular.

'But I have to admit I was very surprised when I started receiving phone calls asking for even bigger ones.

'We ship them around the world and, at the moment, New Zealand and Australia are the biggest takers.

Smalls: The pants worn in the film Bridget Jones are nothing compared to the Big Bloomers

'Our customers have been very enthusiastic and have given us help to tweak the design and make the knickers more accommodating.'

Retired insurance broker Dianne set up the Big Bloomers Company with daughter Laura, 46,in April after spotting the gap in the market.

Within weeks they were being contacted by customers begging them to make larger garments.

And now they have launched their 'super-super size' range and have already sold around 100 items since they went on sale last week.

The company, which sends a mail order catalogue to customers, also sells tights and gowns, which uses an incredible six metres of fabric.

I'm A Celebrity 2010: Stacey Solomon rinses down in the jungle pool in pink bikini after being sprayed with bugs in Bushtucker trial

By Chris Johnson

Time for a wash: Stacey Solomon takes to the jungle pool in a pink bikini after taking part in another gruesome Bushtucker trial

Stacey Solomon was certainly in need of a good wash following her latest bug-infested Bushtucker trail.

And the 21-year-old mother of one certainly didn't waste any time stripping down to her pink bikini for a rinse down after her gruelling ordeal.

The former X Factor contestant appropriately took part in the challenge 'Star In Their Pies', a play on the singing talent show Star In Their Eyes.

All clean now: The former X Factor contestant wrings out her hair after taking a refreshing dip

But the usually plucky camper performed only managed to retrieve three out of the six stars available.

For the challenge, Stacey was sat in a giant pie base and was transported along a conveyor belt factory line, while disgusting things were slopped in.

The singer had to search for stars in among the ingredients which included offal, meal worms, cockroaches and vegetables.

'Get me in the pie, I’m really excited, let’s do it,' she cried.

Yuck: Earlier she took part in the Stars In Their Pies challenge which saw her have to retrieve stars from a giant pie as all manner of bugs were poured in

As she sat in the pie the first challenge was to empty three bags containing meat and offal into the pie.

But as she opened one bag the star fell to the outside of the crust which mean she could only now get five of the six available stars.

She was transported on the moving tracks around the factory to a vegetable tip containing cockroaches and crickets in among the veggies but she managed to get the star.

Brace yourself: Stacey gets a blast of jungle nasties as she takes part in the trial, winning three out of a possible six stars

Foul: Goo comes flowing in out of pipe as Stacey desperately searches around

At the third station she had to unscrew the end of a tube and meal worms and cockroaches poured down but she managed to pluck out the star giving her two out of six.

'I’ll never eat pie again', she squealed. She then had pepper blown through a wind tunnel at her.

Ant said: 'You’ve now got to have a bit of gravy with your pie, we are northern and we love a bit of gravy.'

As the glutinous gravy poured down the chute, Stacey managed to grab another star.

Revealing: The camper donned a low cut pink top for her challenge and wore goggles to protect her eyes

Close call: Stacey tried to bite hold of a star but failed, despite later commenting she had a 'big enough mouth'

No pie is worth its salt without a crust and the topping was lowered on to the base and Stacey was told she could not use her hands but had to get the final two stars using only her mouth.

An egg glaze showered down on her and Stacey complained it stank. She ran out of time getting the first star and then used her hand to put the second star in her mouth which therefore didn’t count.

'I just couldn’t get the stars in my mouth, I know you were thinking she’s got a big enough mouth why couldn’t she get it in,' she said to Ant and Dec.

Closed in: At the end of a trial a huge pie lid was lowered on top, meaning Stacey was not allowed to use her hands and had to try to retrieve the stars with her mouth

'I’m gutted to only get three stars, I might as well just go and kill myself!'

She told her fellow celebrities on returning to camp: 'It wasn’t hard, I was just poo.

'I thought it would be a piece of cake but it just went past my face… it was so disgusting. I thought ‘thank your daddy for the big teeth and big mouth’ but they didn’t come in handy.'
